Mother's Day Letter to my Babies

On Mother’s Day, I like to write a letter to my babies.

I started a tradition of writing a little letter to my babies every Mother’s Day and this year is even more special having Giulietta here too!

Dear Dominic and Giulietta-

Today is a special day for me because I wouldn’t be celebrating Mother’s Day without you! It’s a true honor to be your Mama! This year I get to celebrate with both of you together and that’s just so AMAZING!

Dominic, you are my first born, my son, my little buddy. You are witty, kind, sweet, smart, endearing, independent, and loving. You have learned so much this past year and you now feel more like a little boy rather than baby or toddler. I love how much you want to help and do things for yourself. You make us laugh and keep us on our toes constantly.

Giulietta, you are my little mini, my daughter, my ‘bina.’ You are strong, fierce, brave, charming, fun, caring, and curious. It’s beyond amazing to have you here with me to celebrate Mother’s Day this year. I love your spirited little personality and how determined you are. You love being a part of the action and you’re such a little doll baby. You are the best addition to our family!

This year looks a bit different as we are celebrating through a pandemic, but to be honest, I don’t really mind because that just means extra cuddles with you kiddos!

I don’t take this day lightly as I have wanted to be a Mom my whole life. It means a lot to be able to spend this day with you both. You both are my greatest accomplishments.

I hope you always know how much I love you, no matter what. I will be here for you always, being your biggest cheerleader and supporter. You both make me so proud and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us all.

Thank you for making me a Mama! YOU ARE THE BEST!
