A Note to my Babies
On this Mother’s Day, I wanted to write a note to my babies.
Last year, I wrote a note to Dominic which you can read HERE.
I can’t wait to go back and read this note to my babies when they are grown up!
Dear Dominic and Baby Girl—
This is my second official Mother’s Day and I could not be more excited for it! I am honored to be your Mommy!
This Mother’s Day feels different than last year because I am almost 20 months in to being a Momma and I am kind of in the swing of things now. That is, until August, when you arrive baby girl and completely switch up our whole routine. WE CAN’T WAIT!
This year is also different because you are a toddler now, Dominic. Your personality is shining through more than ever. You are still the sweet little boy that you have always been, but your baby ways are almost fading away. Don’t grow too fast, little man!
Dominic, you light up my world. You are the most joyous part of my days. You are laid back and easy going. You are loving and caring. You make me laugh with all the stories you tell me! You make me so proud.
Baby girl, although I have not officially met you yet, I can tell you are an amazing girl! You have so much energy bouncing around in my belly all day. You are fun and sassy when we see dancing around on the ultrasounds. You are loved so fiercely and strongly already!
Dominic, I know that things are going to change a bit around here in a few months, but the way you have been loving on my belly and kissing and hugging your sister, makes me think you are going to THE BEST big brother ever! Your sister is lucky to have you as a role model!
This Mother’s Day is a special one as now I am a Momma of 2! You may make me crazy some days, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. Being a Mom is something I always wanted so thank you for making my dreams come true!!!
To my babies, I love you unconditionally, forever and EVER! Thank you for choosing me as your Momma, I am beyond grateful!
