This Mother’s Day celebrate Mom with this simple charcuterie gift basket idea!
This charcuterie gift basket idea comes together so easily to give to all the special Mamas in your life for Mother’s Day!
Every Mama deserves to be celebrated every day of the year, but especially on Mother’s Day! Moms are so amazing and give so much, so I love being able to show my appreciation a little more on Mother’s Day!
I love putting together personalized gift baskets for all the Moms who have made an impact on my life! They can be customized to the recipient and fill it with things they truly love.
I think a charcuterie gift basket is the perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day with your Mama! The basket is not only a cute way to present the gift, but it’s functional and can be used all around the house. Cute and functional gifts are the best!
If you have a Mama who loves wine, you have to put this Famille Vincent “Marie Antoinette" Pouilly-Fuissé in her gift basket! In 1985, 4th generation winemaker, Jean-Jacques (JJ) Vincent started the Famille Vincent brand to respond to an increased demand for Burgundy wines. Their wine is made from vineyards that are owned by the Vincent family. This wine is a tribute to his mother, Marie-Antoinette Vincent, who was the queen of their family and full of elegance. Perfect for gifting to the queen of your own family!
CHARCUTERIE GIFT BASKET FILLERS
For this gift wine and cheese gift basket, I used this neutral felt basket. I thought it was a good base for the gift basket and then I started filling it with all the things to build out a little charcuterie board.
I then added a small cutting board and cheese knife. I included a couple different cheese options. You could add in some crackers, dried fruit, or nuts, if you wanted. I always think giving a small plant is such a good gift and it looks cute styled on the table with the charcuterie board.
I also put in a towel as I think they add great texture to the gift basket. Everyone can always use more towels and it’s perfect to lay out while setting up the charcuterie board.
Now, for the wine in the gift basket! This Famille Vincent “Marie Antoinette" Pouilly-Fuissé makes the most beautiful gift! It’s medium bodied, dry, and has notes of orchard fruit, citrus, and stone fruit. This Pouilly-Fuissé is really delicious and a great way to introduce your Mama to Burgundy white wine as it’s right in the middle of an American Chardonnay and Chardonnays of the Côte d’Or. It focuses on the floral and mineral characters of Pouilly-Fuissé with tank fermentation. There is good minerality from dominant limestone origins and ripe fruit.
Lastly, the wine glasses! You could get glasses that are engraved too.
This gift basket is the perfect ‘to go’ charcuterie board that can easily be given to your Mom! It would be fun to set it up together and enjoy. I’m going to recreate this gift basket for my Mom this Mother’s Day and enjoy it with her outside on a little picnic in the backyard.
The Famille Vincent “Marie Antoinette" Pouilly-Fuissé is an amazing value compared to others! I love that it’s a family owned brand that is now operating under a 5th generation winemaker, Antoine Vincent. The Vincent family helped found the appellation of Pouilly-Fuissé in 1923 and the wines are made with the same expertise as the wines of Chateau Fuissé. I love the family history behind this brand of wine which makes it even more special to give to your Mama this Mother’s Day!
Even if you are cooking Mom a meal this Mother’s Day, grab a bottle of Famille Vincent “Marie Antoinette" Pouilly-Fuissé to try out.
