These ideas for Mother’s Day are perfect for all the special mamas in your life!

With Mother’s Day looking a bit different this year due to social distancing, I came up with some ideas that are still amazing and will make your Mama feel extra special!
These ideas are things I would love or already own. There is also a lot of experiences which I think are just as perfect as an actual gift!
MAKE HER A MEAL
I’m sure a lot of Moms would love a day off from cooking! The perfect way to her heart is a yummy homemade meal whether it be breakfast or a yummy dessert. Here are some of my favorite recipes:
TRIPLE CHOCOLATE OATMEAL COOKIES
HOMEMADE SAUCE + TURKEY MEATBALLS
GIVE HER ALONE TIME
I think this one would be so nice for any Mom of young kiddos right now. Since these stay at home orders have been in effect, there is not as many breaks for Moms so any alone time would be so appreciated, at least for me anyways. Just to have some time to myself without any interruptions would be so nice
WRITE HER A LETTER/CARD
I think hand written letters or cards are so sweet and sentimental. If you are unable to spend time with your Mom this year, send her a card or letter to let her know you’re thinking of her. Even if little ones are involved, trace their hands and let them color it in to give it to Mom or Grandma.
GIVE A GIFT CARD
Sometimes a gift card is the perfect gift because it allows the recipient to pick out whatever they want! Get her a giftcard to her favorite store where she can only buy something for HERSELF. For example, we love getting my Mom a giftcard to the Loft because she loves shopping there and we know she won’t be able to buy anyone else a gift, but herself.
FLOWERS/PLANTS
Such a classic and go to gift, but so beautiful. Even if your Mom isn’t into flowers, plants are another great option! Nothing is more cheery than a fresh bouquet of flowers or a new plant to care for :)
JEWELRY
Etsy is full of ideas for personalized jewelry options. I’m going to link some of my favorites below.
ESSENTIAL OILS
I’m a BIG fan of essential oils. They are the ultimate pamper gift idea as they can provide support for sleep, emotions, skin, stress, cleaning, laundry, and other wellness aspects. Getting Mom a starter kit would be such a nice gift so that she can indulge in all the oils and start diffusing right away.

SPEND TIME WITH HER
I think just spending time with Mom is the best gift of all. Just being with her is special and will create long lasting memories!
