A charcuterie board and an ice cream cone make for one fun summer treat!

THIS ICE CREAM CONE CHARCUTERIE BOARD IS THE PERFECT WAY TO COOL OFF THIS SUMMER!

IMG_8765.JPG

There is nothing better than ice cream on a hot summer day! It’s quintessential to the perfect summer day, I think!

My kiddos are big ice cream fans so I thought I would set up this simple ice cream cone charcuterie board for our family to enjoy together. This comes together so easily and can be tailored to what you and your family love!

With Tillamook Oregon Strawberry Ice Cream and Tillamook Mudslide Ice Cream, this charcuterie board was delicious! Tillamook Ice Cream is creamier and so amazing! Tillamook Ice Cream has less air and more cream giving it such a decadent taste. We got ours at Wegman’s and it was perfect for our charcuterie board! The kids are already asking when we make another ice cream cone board again with these yummy ice creams! Add these two ice cream varieties to your Wegman's shopping cart by clicking here.

I love making charcuterie boards because there is always something for everyone to enjoy. I love how creative you can be with these boards too!

Cones on the board

INGREDIENTS

  • Tillamook Oregon Strawberry Ice Cream

  • Tillamook Mudslide Ice Cream

  • 4-5 different toppings

  • Cones/Dishes

  • Large board/tray

  • Small bowls

  • Spoons

Board set up
Ready to scoop the ice cream

DIRECTIONS

  1. I started from the bottom with the cones and I placed 6 in the shape of a cone/pyramid

    • You could use dishes instead of cones, if you wanted too

  2. Place 4 small bowls as the next layer for the ice cream part of the ice cream cone. I used these fun swirly bowls so that they looked like scoops of ice cream

    • I didn’t add the Tillamook Ice Cream until the very end so it wouldn’t melt, but you want to put the bowls in place to make sure spacing will work out

  3. Layer your toppings, sauces, whipped cream, or cherries

    • I put ours in rows so everyone can see what was on display easily, but you can mix it all together too

    • I didn’t put the whipped cream out until the end as well

    • Use a small bowl for sauces/cherries to make serving it a little easier

  4. Right before serving, add the whipped cream and Tillamook Oregon Strawberry Ice Cream and Tillamook Mudslide Ice Cream

    • I did alternating scoops of ice cream and added a couple spoons for serving

  5. Bring it outside and ENJOY!

Dishing out ice cream

The kids were SO excited to see me bring this ice cream cone charcuterie board outside! Their eyes lit up and had so much fun building their own ice cream cones with their favorite toppings!
