We love charcuterie boards in our house! I thought, why not make a Christmas themed s’mores board our family could enjoy!
Dominic and I took a trip to Target and found all of these goodies there. I didn’t make it too big as we are just a family of 4 and Giulietta can’t eat much of it, but you could definitely double or triple this, if you want to!
This would be a fun way to have an easy dessert tray. People could add whatever they want to their s’mores, roast their mallows and enjoy!
HOW I MADE THE S’MORES CHARCUTERIE BOARD
I decided to make the board into a tree shape to make it more festive. This was so easy to put together and you could literally put whatever you want on the board.
I used chocolate gold coins as the trunk of the tree. The seasonal chessman cookies as a layer of the tree. I added one on top of the other for extra cookies.
Next, I alternated between peppermint chocolate snowmen and Reese’s PB trees. The perfect mix of chocolates for the s’mores, I think!
As the tree topper, I used these snowflake marshmallow hot cocoa toppers. I thought they would be fun to melt for the s’mores.
Add some sticks on the side to complete the tree and now it’s time to dig in!
Dominic was so excited to help me build the board and even more excited to snack on it! Even though it’s cold here and we aren’t having fires, we can make a s’mores over the grill or melt the marshmallows on the cookies in the oven. No need for a big fire, we can get creative and still enjoy our s’mores!
This was so easy to put together. If you try this with your family, be sure to let me know!
