A Letter to my Littles
This yearly tradition of writing a letter to my littles continues!
See my letter last year, the year before, and the year before that.
This letter I like to write to my littles each year is so special and I know I will cherish them for years to come!
Dear Dominic and Giulietta-
Here we are, another year later on Mother’s Day! I always have chills writing these letters to you because I can’t believe (still) that I get to be your Mama! It is really the best thing that’s ever happened to me!
This was a crazy year, little ones! Lots of unprecedented things happened in this world and thankfully, you probably won’t remember much from it. I’m sure you will end up reading about it in your history books in school along with us teaching you what we all went through.
To say I am grateful for you both is an understatement! You helped us through these crazy and scary times by making us laugh. You made us really focus on what matters most, our family, our health, and our safety. Our love for you is endless, my loves.
Dominic, you are so smart. You are caring. You are sweet. You love to cuddle and snuggle. You are an amazing big brother and have taught Gigi so much. You are my little buddy and love doing projects with me. You are patient and understanding. You are learning so much each day and I love watching you grow. Your imagination is incredible. You are so analytical and build the coolest towers and tracks. You are loved so much!
Giulietta, you are so brave. You are fearless. You are friendly. You love to be on the go and to do your own thing. You love your big brother and want to do whatever he does and more! You are my little dolly and love pretending to put on makeup with me. You are independent and sassy. You are talking so much lately and I love watching your little brain figure things out. You are creative and love to color and paint. You are loved so much.
Both of you are my pride and joy, truly. This year was wished away a lot, but I tried to savor as much as I could because I didn’t want to wish away your childhoods. You are wonderful, capable, and so strong!
We love seeing you explore and become your own little humans. Your Mommy and Daddy love you and will always be rooting for you!
