Post Christmas Thoughts
Hope your Christmas was merry and bright! Today, I wanted to share some post Christmas thoughts with you!
With all the hustle and bustle of decorating each room (living room, dining room, porch, kitchen), it’s nice to slow down for the next few days.
Having some post Christmas thoughts and wanted to share some with you to hopefully inspire and welcome in the new year!
After Christmas I always have some thoughts on the whole year as a whole. This year, I thought I would share them with you!
2018 was a fun year! Dominic really grew into his own little person which was seriously the best part of the year! He turned 1 in September which is just insane how fast his first year of life flew by.
John Paul and I grew and learned how to navigate this whole parenthood journey through Dominic’s first year. It has brought us closer together and made us laugh even more than before at all the silly things we do for him and each other!
We took lots of trips including a trip to Chicago, Charleston, lots of trips to MA, and lots of day trips. Each adventure was new and exciting for Dominic.
We did some updates to our house including new furniture, paint in the guest bedroom and our bedroom, updated the front steps, made over the sunroom into a playroom, and added new backsplash to our kitchen.
Professionally wise, my blog grew so much this year! I worked incredibly hard all year long and it is paying off which is so rewarding. A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU FOR BEING A HUGE PART OF THIS GROWTH, XO!
As the year comes to a close and 2019 begins, I like to look back and reflect and I am so grateful to be where I am. I wanted to be a stay at home Mom as soon as I found out I was pregnant with Dominic, however, I also love to work. Having this little blog here has allowed for both of these worlds to collide.
Being a business owner and a mama is hard work, but I seriously wouldn’t trade it for anything!! I love that I get to do both of these things simultaneously.
I remember thinking back to the beginning of this year and really wondering if I would still be home with Dominic by the end of the year. I am proud to say a GIANT YES.
Not only do I get to stay home with my baby, but I am fulfilled, happy, and humbled that this is my career path. I have met so many of you who are so supportive and encouraging which inspires me to continue doing more of what I love.
I seriously cannot thank you enough for being here and being so invested in myself and my little family. I hope you had a wonderful 2018 and that 2019 is even better!
I encourage you to set big goals for yourself in the next few days. You can do ANYTHING you set your heart on. I BELIEVE IN YOU!!
I can’t wait to bring you more exciting things this coming year!
I asked this on my IG stories too, but I am wondering, why are you here? What drew you to my blog? Home decor? Motherhood? Fashion? Recipes? Let me know in the comments :)
Thank you for stopping by the blog!
XO
