Easy Christmas Kitchen Decor
Christmas decor in the kitchen can be so simple and easy yet still festive and fun!
Christmas is in full force over here, see our dining room all decorated for Christmas, HERE.
Some fresh greens, faux garlands, and other small Christmas touches complete the look of our easy Christmas kitchen decor!
I am honored to be a part of this Christmas home tour today! Thank you to Carla, Oak Hill Farms for organizing this tour! See everyone touring at the bottom of the post!
For our Christmas decor in the kitchen, I kept it very simple and easy, similar to what I did in here in the Fall. I like the kitchen to be functional yet still festive!
We eat at the island for a lot of meals so I like keeping it clean and clear of extra ‘things.’ I will dress it up occasionally, but for our everyday decor, I kept it easy. I added a branch from our tree that had fallen off when we moved it into the house to a milk glass vase. I sat this on top of a little sled and added some of my favorite ironstone pieces next to it.
To add some cheer to our counters, I added these 2 prints (HERE and HERE) from Angela Staehling. They are the perfect touch of red and I love the sayings on them. I shared in my IG stories how to get more bang for your buck with picture frames, but I used the frame part on 1 of the prints and then used the backing/stand for the other print! 2 frames for the price of 1!
Along the window above our sink, I added this flocked garland from JOANN. It dresses up the windows just a little bit. I added 3 nails to the cabinets to drape the garland on. I love that this could extend into the winter season too. I had some extra garland so I added it to our little window near our stove too.
I then hung a couple stocking to the doors in the kitchen. Dominic actually loves playing with them and swinging them around so it’s great entertainment for him while we are cooking!
Lastly, I hung up a flocked wreath on the pantry door! I’m not sure why I have never had a wreath on this door before because I absolutely love it!!
There will most likely always be coffee brewing and cookies somewhere too! I love baking at this time of year! See some of my favorite recipes: italian ricotta cookies, triple chocolate cranberry oatmeal cookies, or pizzelles!
That’s it! Our Christmas decor in the kitchen is easy and minimal, but it makes the whole kitchen feel more magical! Christmas decor does not have to be elaborate, just a few small touches and your space will feel festive!
I hope you get a little inspiration to decorate your kitchen for Christmas!
