Follow these tips on how to make a comfy bed to have the best sleep ever!

There is nothing like cozying up into bed after a long and busy day, right? It’s such a relaxing feeling.

Being a Mom to 2 little ones, I need all the sleep I can get, so having an extra comfy bed is so important. We love our mattress and bedframe, but definitely needed some help on the bedding part!

MATTRESS

Having a good quality mattress is the root of all good sleep. We upgraded ours about a year ago and have loved it. I highly recommend going to a mattress store to try out the mattresses and learn from a professional as to what type of mattress would be best!

SHEETS

I’ve always loved the look of linen sheets, but never had any. I didn’t know if they would be comfortable to sleep on and how they would hold up to washing and drying.

I’m so glad I took the plunge and tried out these sheets from Magic Linen. They are a DREAM. Not only are they absolutely beautiful, but they are so comfy.

John Paul and I have both made comments how they are so luxurious, but still cozy. They are so soft and get better with each wash, I swear!

We got them in this gorgeous woodrose color and I love the pop of color in our otherwise neutral bedroom.

We don’t usually love a top sheet as it gets all tangled and ends up at the bottom of the bed a lot. We opted for no top sheet and we have no regrets!

DUVET COVER AND INSERT

Since we don’t use a top sheet, we love having an extra fluffy duvet for added warmth. We accomplish this by doubling up on duvet inserts!

Duvet inserts can be pricey so by adding 2 inside the cover, you can save a bit of money and still have a cozy duvet to curl up into! I also think having an extra full duvet makes for a cozier look.

This duvet cover from Magic Linen is amazing! It’s so well made and extremely soft. It has gotten even more comfortable and softer with use too! It has the ties on the inside so you can attach inserts easily.

PILLOWS

We have a comfy pillow to sleep with and then an additional pillow that is more decorative. I like having 2 pillows to sleep with so the comfier one goes on top and then the extra underneath when we sleep.

When I make the bed, I put the more decorative pillow in front and put the pillows we sleep on behind.

I like to add a couple throw pillows to make the bed look polished and comfortable.

We love our bedding from Magic Linen. I’m so glad we decided to try out linen bedding as it’s amazing! Our bed is so comfy and cozy, perfect for a good night’s sleep after a busy day. I love the messy, somewhat undone look—it makes me want to climb right in!

I think the keys to a comfy bed are a good mattress, cozy sheets, fluffy duvets, and tons of pillows!
