2021 Word of the Year

Happy New Year! I am excited for 2021 and to be choosing my word for the year.

See my word for 2020, HERE, which kind of makes me laugh now, but some of my thoughts held true.

For 2021, I want my word of the year to be strong and align with my goals for the year.

I have been thinking a lot about this upcoming year and how I want to approach this year. I know 2020 changed me in a lot of ways I never expected, so heading into 2021, I want to embrace these changes and explore these ideas.

Exploration. I have a lot of exploring I want to do. Not just in the physical sense of travel either, although I would love to travel more, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves!

I want to explore lots of new ideas I have for my business here. I have so many ideas that I hope to bring to fruition and I want to work hard at accomplishing them. I want to branch out and try new things. I’m excited to share my ideas and I hope you will be excited for them too!

I want to explore and try out new activities. I want to start using power tools and building things for our new home. I have so many ideas for our home that I would love to try and do ourselves.

I want to explore more with our family. Not only taking them places and seeing the world, which we love doing, but exploring new things to do at home. For example: I want to play outside even more, do more educational activities, and do more within our community and giving back to others.

I also want to explore more ways we can make our lives more sustainable. From using essential oils, switching our daily products to more all natural and plant based items, to reevaluating some of the food we eat, to using more reusable items. We have been doing some of these already, but I want to dive in deeper.

There are so many things to explore and do and I hope this year is fruitful in discovering all of this!
