We thought we would break this travel guide down by a few categories!
RESTAURANTS FOR DATE NIGHT:
Toutant: A delicious southern style restaurant. We have gone several times and each time have thoroughly enjoyed our food! Plus the atmosphere is really fun!
Marble and Rye: Such a fun date night spot with yummy food and really unique drinks. Love the small plates so that you can many and share.
PLACES TO VISIT:
Botanical Gardens: Absolutely beautiful! We took our engagement photos here and then recently took Dominic and he loved looking at all the different plants and flowers they have!
Niagara Falls: Kind of a must, if you aren’t local to Buffalo. It’s beautiful and worth checking out, if you have never been. We’ve done the Maid of the Mist boat ride which is really fun!
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES:
Buffalo Zoo: Perfect size and they have lots of animals. We had a membership last year and it was definitely worth it!
Becker Farms: We love picking apples and berries here! They have delicious donuts and hard cider! So fun for families and adults!
SHOPS:
Tattered Tulip: My favorite antique shop! She has tons of antiques mixed with newer merchandise. I love stopping by to check out all the new things she has (vintage and reproductions!).
Half and Half: Such a cute boutique! I love their clothing and accessories!
FAMILY ACTIVITIES:
Olcott Beach: We recently went here and wish we had been sooner! So fun and perfect for families. There is a splash pad and park plus cute shops and a little beach.
Picnic on the Niagara River: Beautiful views! Lots to see and you can take a nice long walk! Pack a picnic lunch and spend the day! See my tips for picnics HERE.
Buffalo Science Museum: So much fun for littles to explore! All different exhibits that are perfect for all ages and interests!
These are all things we have done while living here in Buffalo. Each are a bit different, but still fun! I never realized we would love living here so much when we moved about 5 years ago. There really is a lot to do and see!
