It’s been a while since I have styled this cabinet so I was playing around the other day and decided to show you what I came up with for Spring!

I shopped our home and found everything I needed for this little vignette. Using lots of vintage and antique pieces, plants, greenery, and extra little decor items, this space came together so cute!

VINTAGE PIECES

I love layering items to create a cozy vibe. See my tips for layering decor HERE. I wanted to hide the thermostat so I first put the vintage mini ladder against the wall to cover it up.

I used my vintage washboard as a tray and put an old book on top of it too add some height. I also put my antique seltzer bottle on the left side to balance out the height.

I added one of the vintage ice cream parlor chairs in front of the cabinet. They are so fun to style and decorate even if we don’t use them as functioning chairs.

PLANTS + GREENERY

I love my house plants and they just scream spring to me so I had incorporate them. I used my umbrella plant and my new peperomia.

I wanted some color so I used this beautiful wreath on the ladder to aide in covering the thermostat. I also added some faux flowers to the little market bag on the floor for some more color and texture.

EXTRA DECOR

I filled in the ‘holes’ with some extra decor to really fill up the cabinet and complete the look. I added a couple different little stands to elevate my plant and the seltzer bottle. I added the little water bottles to play off the gardening theme.

The eucalyptus pillow is the perfect touch for some different texture. It adds some softness with all the hard wood and metal pieces.

I stepped back and realized the middle of the cabinet looked kind of empty, so I grabbed a metal container and put the ladder in it!

This was such a fun little space to play around with and really got my creative juices flowing. Now I want to decorate the whole house for spring! I’m so ready for warmer weather
