Sweet and Spicy Pulled Chicken in the Crockpot

I am all about a simple dinner idea and this sweet and spicy pulled chicken in the crockpot comes together so easily!

This sweet and spicy pulled chicken is so easy, you just throw it all in the crockpot, set it, and dinner is ready!

We have been making this pulled chicken recipe for a while now and have made it in a variety of ways, but I think this way I’m sharing today is our fave!

It is literally the easiest dinner recipe. We love the crockpot, especially in the winter when it’s cold and dreary and you just want a simple yet delicious meal.

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb chicken breast or thighs

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

1/2 cup your favorite BBQ sauce

1/2 cup your favorite salsa

1 tbs worcestershire sauce

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Put all the ingredients into the crock pot and mix it all together

  2. Set the crockpot on low for 5 hours

  3. Shred the chicken after the 5 hours and put back into the crockpot for another 30 minutes or until it has absorbed some of the liquid

  4. SERVE and ENJOY!

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

  • serve it as is with a roasted veggie like brussel sprouts, sweet potato, or green beans

  • serve it as a pulled chicken taco with all the fixings of a taco bar

  • serve on a roll with extra BBQ sauce for a pulled chicken sandwich

See how easy it is! I love it because it requires no prior chopping, preparing, or cooking. Just throw it all in the crockpot and you’re good to go!
