With summer in full swing, we are gearing up for some fun adventures and get togethers with our family and friends who we have missed getting together with!
I love throwing a fun themed party. It always makes for a good time! I love party prep and making our home welcoming and festive for our family and friends.

LAWN DECOR
We decided to set up the yard signs in our backyard to make the photo booth area more festive! They are so easy to set up and have such cute sayings such as ‘Missed You Bbq’ and ‘back together.’ The kids had a blast helping me put the signs out and got the biggest kick out of the burger signs!
PHOTO BOOTH PROPS
Big Dot of Happiness has created the cutest photo booth props for guests to hold up while taking photos. We put them all in a big basket so that our friends and family could pick out which ones they wanted to use in the photos. The props were such fun play on words such as ‘barbe cute’, ‘sauce boss’, ‘bun-derful to see you’, ‘to be frank, I missed you a lot’, ‘un-grill-ievable’, and more! Our guests got a good laugh reading through all the props! The kids and I tested out the photo booth props and they were a hit! We also hung up some of the swirls along our shed for the perfect backdrop for photos!
TABLESCAPE
We do most of our entertaining out on the deck so I decided to set up the food table on our deck so people can eat out back. We decided to do a smoked chicken for the adults and hot dogs for the kids for our BBQ. We love doing potluck style parties where everyone brings something yummy to try! We used all the Big Dot of Happiness decor to make our tablescape really pop! From the confetti to the centerpiece cut outs to stickers for gift bags, the table turned out so festive! We kept the tablecloth and plates super simple so that the decor really stood out! The hanging banner was so perfect to greet our guests as they came out on the deck!
I loved setting up this BBQ with all the decor from Big Dot of Happiness. The theme was so on point and it was the perfect way to ‘ketchup’ with everyone!
This theme would be perfect for a family reunion or with friends you haven’t seen in a while. I love how celebratory it is and that guests instantly feel relaxed and happy when they see all the fun signage and decor!
