Haven Conference
I am so excited to share with you my experience at the Haven Conference.
This year it took place in Charleston which is one of my absolute favorite cities. It is so quaint and charming with tons of beautiful and historic architecture.
Read all about our trip last year when we went to Charleston, HERE.
Haven Conference is a DIY, Home Decor, and Crafting blogging conference. It is for anyone who is interested in any of these topics.
The conference is 2 days and jam packed with lots of information ranging from photography, SEO, working with brands, ad management, organization, legal info, Pinterest tips, and more!
My brain is on information overload in the best way possible. I learned so many things and I am excited to make my blog a better place for us all!
There are key note speakers that change yearly. All different brands and companies come to Haven as vendors that you can meet with and get to know.

I was able to meet with some of my really good blogging friends who I have not met in person. I think this was the best part of Haven!
Amanda , Midcounty Journal
Brendt , She Gave It A Go
Andrea , 31 Girl At Home
Debby , Pretty Healthy House
Kelly, The Tattered Pew
Everyone is super nice and friendly. It is great because you are all there to grow and learn from one another. Being able to bounce ideas off of people was so amazing!
Hayley, A House with Books
I put together a list of questions and concerns I received about Haven:
Q: Did you room with anyone?
A: I went with my family because we made it a vacation so I did not room with anyone. I do know lots of people who did room together to save on cost and to have some friends to hang with at night.
Q: Did you meet up with friends?
A: Yes! I knew some people who were going and planned to meet up with them. I also did not realize some of my friends were going to be at Haven until I saw them. It was so exciting!
Q: Do you have to pay?
A: Yes, there is a fee, but it is 100% worth it! The knowledge you will gain, connections you make, and experience is priceless! You also get a ton of swag and it includes your breakfast, lunch, and snacks on both days!
Q: Can new bloggers go?
A: Absolutely!! I met so many people who hadn't even started their blog yet. It is so informative that it will be so helpful in getting your blog off and running on the right foot.
Q: What kind of classes are offered? Do you sign up ahead of time for the classes?
A: There are tons to choose from. I took all the informational courses, rather than the hands on DIY classes. I took SEO, photography, how to approach brands, Instastory, Pinterest, and ad management. There were also classes about organizing your blog, taking your blog full time, and legal concerns. The classes are all first come first served.
Q: I am a bit of an introvert so I am a little nervous.
A: My advice, GO! Don't be nervous, everyone is so nice and wants to meet you! You will connect with someone, I promise!
This was truly the best experience and I am so happy I made the decision to go this year. I can't wait to go to Haven next year when it is back in Atlanta!
If you are thinking of going, GO. It was life changing and I have already started to implement a lot of what I learned. I soaked up everything and took lots of notes. I left feeling inspired and motivated to take my blog to the next level.
I am excited to share what is to come with you, however a lot of it is behind the scenes things that I need to fix in order to make this blog a better experience.
I can't wait to see what is to come next for me and Aratari At Home! Haven Conference gave me a new perspective and new ideas and for that I am forever grateful!
Have you ever thought about going to Haven?
Thank you for stopping by the blog!
