Giulietta at 6 Months Old
Our little Giulietta is now 6 months old!

I wanted to share an update for Giulietta at 6 months old from growth to development to her favorite things and more!

I seriously cannot believe we are already at the 6 month mark with Giulietta! Where does the time go, honestly?!
The past 6 months have been such a whirlwind, but so much fun! There have been so many amazing new memories we’ve made as a family of 4 and we have loved watching our little girl grow each day!
Watching Dominic become a big brother has been so sweet. He is so endearing and loving with her. She LOVES him and is always looking around for where he is. She follows his every movement. I know once she can move, she will be chasing him around the house.
GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
It may be hard to tell in photos, but Giulietta is a PEANUT! She is very petite. She is long and lean, just like Dominic was. See Dominic’s 6 month update HERE. She just wore her first 6 month size outfit the other day.
She weighs in at 10.10 lbs and is 24” long! She isn’t tipping the scales, but she is growing and she’s healthy which is all that matters!
She rolls every once in a while. She’s gotten very strong and can push up on her arms really well. She is grabbing at everything and loves putting all her toys in her mouth. Gigi loves to stand and we brought down the bouncer from the attic for her to use—she loves it! She is recently starting to sit with the support of the Boppy behind her. It’s so cute!
PERSONALITY
She has the best smile that literally lights up her entire face! I hope she never loses that sweet smile! She loves being around people—she has to be in the know at all times! She is so sweet and friendly and smiles at everyone. Gigi is fierce, she lets you know when she wants something! I truly hope she is always as brave and feisty as she is now.
SLEEP
She naps great! Goes down without a problem. We actually got her on a great schedule and that has helped tremendously! She is not consistently sleeping through the night yet. She was when she was 2-3 months old, then she hit the 4 month sleep regression and hasn’t really gone back to sleeping through the night since. She gets up about 1 time a night to eat which is ok. She is still loving her swaddle too!
FOOD
Giulietta recently started eating solids about a month ago and she is LOVING them! She loves applesauce the most, so far. She did have some pizza crust the other day and she was really into that! We are doing mostly purees with her, but she has sucked on some melon, apples, avocado, and banana.
TEETH
She doesn’t have any teeth yet, but she is chewing on everything. Her ped thinks her bottom teeth are coming in. We can see a tooth coming in on top too! I love her gummy smile so we can wait on teeth for just a bit ;)
TOYS
These are some of Gigi’s fave toys:
Giulietta is our little ray of sunshine. We gave her a little nickname—Bina, short for Bambina which means baby girl in italian. She is a little dolly and we love her so much! I can’t wait to see what these next 6 months bring, but I don’t want to wish time away. These next 6 months are some of my favorite!
