Fall Front Porch
Decorating my front porch for Fall is my favorite!
The temperatures this week have not been very Fall like, especially being in Western NY. It's been in the 80's all week, so crazy! The weather hasn't stopped me from decorating for Fall though! Did you see my Fall Home Tour I posted last week? If not, read it here.
I love our fall front porch and all the pretty pumpkins!
Today I am ready to share my Fall Front Porch with you! I did things a bit differently this year than last year. I went a lot more simple & minimalist. I wanted a low maintenance front porch & just felt we needed a little simplicity out here. I am in love with the end result.
Welcome to our porch! Mums the word this year LOL!! I went with mums, white pumpkins, & squashed heirloom pumpkins on the porch.
I lined the stairs with mums in white, orange, & pink & sprinkled in some mini white pumpkins. I picked up some natural & berry colored baskets at the local nursery to put the mums in.
I love the way these heirloom pumpkins can stack on top of one another. The colors are also my favorite with these creamy white, blue/gray, & peachy tones. They kind of set the tone for the fall decor in our home.
My ferns from the Spring are still going strong so I figured I would leave them out a little longer. They add some great color to the stair way.
I love the way that everything lined up on the stairs sort of invites you into our home.
On the dining side of the porch, I stacked up some white & peach heirloom pumpkins & layered in mini white pumpkins & a couple of traditional orange pumpkins. It makes for a fun centerpiece. Lots of textures, colors, & different heights.
I love the way they all cascade over each other. It creates a lot of movement for the centerpiece.
They all sit on top of my drop cloth covered table. This was an old table that was not being used so adding a drop cloth as a table cloth was an easy fix!
For the sitting area of the porch, I just added a few mini pumpkins. I kept all the white pillows & added in a cozy white throw. I kept the same jute rug from our summer porch update (read all about it here) along with the apple basket end tables & string lights. Simple yet cozy is my jam!
Around the doorway, I used some heirloom pumpkins, added a harvest basket, & a sign from Hobby Lobby that I picked up last year.
