Dining Room Table FAQs
Lately I have been getting lots of questions about our dining room table. I'm not sure why since we have had this table since we purchased the house in March 2015, but I figured it would be easier to compile all the questions & put them into a blog post for you.
Like I said, this table has been in our home since we moved in. We didn't have a nice table & I knew I wanted a farmhouse style table for our dining room. I went on the hunt for a table, but I quickly fell in love with this one from Pier 1. I loved the natural wood tone, the chunky legs, the grain of the wood, & the price!
FAQs:
What is the name of your table?
Bradding Dining Table
What size is your table?
84"
What color is your table?
Natural Stone Wash. There are lots of white flecks throughout making it appear white washed in some places which I love!
Is it easy to clean/what do you use to clean it?
Super easy to keep clean by using Method Cleaner or soap & water. Easily wipe up spills. Does not stain with hot or cold plates.
*Disclaimer: There are some grooves at the ends of the table where little pieces of things can get trapped, but you can easily clean it up with a paper towel.
How many people can it fit?
We typically have 6 chairs around it, but we have done 8 before comfortably.
Would you recommend it?
Yes, highly recommend it! The chunky legs have my H E A R T <3
Additional question....
Where did you get your chairs?
I do not have the matching chairs that go with the table. I found these chairs on the side of the road one day & chalk painted & reupholstered them. You can read about the chalk paint process HERE.
We love our table & have had countless dinners around it with family & friends. It is a piece that we will use for many years to come.
